Stephanie Gammell
M.Ost.

Stephanie joined The Pukacz Practice after completing her Masters Degree in Osteopathy at the
British School of Osteopathy.
During her studies and since she has gained valuable experience in several specialist clinics,
which has lead to her keen interest in assisting patients who have suffered from spinal and sports injuries. Not content
with her degree Stephanie has opted to join a world leading course in biomechanics, which originated in the USA.
Whilst participating on this course, she will benefit from the experiences of some of the world leaders in physical
and manual therapy.
“I love to be able to provide my patients
with everything they need to improve or maintain their lives to the full, whether they have low back pain, are recovering
from serious illness / injury, or improving their athletic ability whether that be an elite or recreational athlete. Central
to my treatment approach is that I view everyone as an individual and tailor my treatments accordingly. ”
Stephanie is proficient in the use of various massage techniques, joint articulation, gentle
manipulation and the use of pain-free movement re-programming during treatment. Where appropriate, Stephanie
also likes to promote optimum health for her patients, through individual nutritional and lifestyle advice.
Outside her working day, Stephanie loves to travel, enjoys regular visits to the gym and is always ready to participate
in an evening out with her friends. Stephanie can be found working at The Pukacz Practice on a Monday and Thursday.
Peter Pukacz DO LCSP(Phys)

Peter qualified as an Osteopath in 1993. Since
becoming a Osteopath he has furthered his education by attending a Post Graduate Training Courses at the Oxford College of
Osteopathy. He originally joined the family practice in 1984 having completed a Remedial Massage Course
at the Northern Institute of Massage. He continued his studies at the Northern Institute of Massage
for a further two years at the end of which he obtained his Manipulative Therapy Diploma. He
also holds a Diploma in Sports Injuries. He has considerable experience in all forms of injury management. One
of the areas in which Peter has specialised in is that of sports injury. Whilst studying he gained
valuable experience carrying out massage skills working for a Second Division Rugby Team. He continued to
develop his skills and took an interest in Motor Sport Injuries, particularly with regard to motorcycle trauma. During
the course of his career he has treated professional Speedway and Superbike riders with post traumatic injuries, as well as weekend motocross and trials enthusiasts.
Steven Baines B.Ost.(Hons)

Steven
commenced his osteopathic education whilst living in New Zealand, completing his studies to a high standard with the BritishSchool of Osteopathy in London. Whilst attached to the British School of Osteopathy he gained experience in the Expectant
Mother Clinic, GP’s Practice Clinic, General and Sports Clinic. He has continued to improve his knowledge
and skills taking additional qualifications in cranial osteopathy. He brings all these skills together for the
benefit his patients at the practice. Before qualifying as an osteopath he had been involved in a number
of different roles including working as a Care Assistant in Harrogate, a masseur at the London Marathon and working with the touchline physiotherapist at the South Bank University, dealing with university football and rugby teams. He
has also completed a Sports Massage Course.

Mykela is a highly motivated masseuse and
homeopathic therapist. Her interest in holistic health care led her out of hairdressing and into studying
for a diploma in homeopathy. Having completed four years of study there was no time to rest and embarked
on further study into Massage therapy, Hot-stone massage, Reiki and Indian head massage. All this while
continuing her homeopathic study and working at the “Well Woman Centre” in Wakefield. Mykela is available for Massage therapy treatments and Homeopathic consultations Friday afternoons.
